You grant Beta Docs a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display User Content solely to provide and operate the Service.

2.3 Confidentiality

Beta Docs treats User Content as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties except:

• As required by law or court order
• To trusted service providers strictly for service delivery
• To protect the security or integrity of the platform

3.1 Primary Hosting

User Content is primarily hosted on secure infrastructure located in Australia, including Microsoft Azure data centres.

3.2 Third-Party Processing

Limited processing may occur through trusted third-party providers (including AI and document services) where necessary to deliver the Service.

4.1 Information Collected

Beta Docs collects limited personal information including name, email, organisation, and usage data.

4.2 Privacy Compliance

Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles.

4.3 Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and store personal information. By using the Service, you consent to these practices.

5.1 Security Measures

We apply industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest.

User Content is retained for as long as necessary to:

Beta Docs includes AI-powered features for grant discovery, drafting assistance, and compliance checks.

6.2 AI Limitations

AI outputs are assistive only and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated.

6.3 User Responsibility

You remain solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and submitting all content.

6.4 AI Training

Beta Docs does not use your content to train shared or third-party AI models.

7.1 Payment Processing

Subscription fees are billed via Stripe and are non-refundable.

7.2 Monthly Credits

Monthly subscription credits expire at the end of each monthly billing period. Each monthly billing period is defined as 30 days.

7.3 Annual Credits

Annual subscription credits expire at the end of each annual billing period.

7.4 Top-up Credits

Purchased top-up credits expire 12 months from purchase.

7.5 Credit Expiry

Unused credits are forfeited upon expiry.

9.1 User Cancellation

You may cancel your account at any time.

9.2 Beta Docs Rights

Beta Docs may suspend or terminate access at its discretion for:

• Breach of these Terms
• Misuse of the Service
• Security, legal, or operational risks

9.3 Refund Policy

Termination does not entitle you to refunds.

10.1 Service Basis

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

10.2 Modifications

Beta Docs may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

11.1 Ownership

All platform software, design, and functionality are owned by Beta Docs.

11.2 License Scope

These Terms grant no rights to Beta Docs' trademarks or proprietary technology.

12.1 Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beta Docs disclaims all warranties.

12.2 Liability Limitations

Beta Docs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

12.3 Liability Cap

Total liability is capped at fees paid in the previous 6 months.

12.4 Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms limits rights under Australian Consumer Law.
