Who Can Apply

• Applicant must be a legally constituted Australian-based entity. • Eligible entity types are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Organisations, New South Wales local councils and shires, and incorporated not-for-profit organisations. • Applicant must be based within New South Wales, unless it can demonstrate the project will run in and for the benefit of women and/or girls in New South Wales and meets all regulatory and business requirements. • Project must be held during NSW Women’s Week from 2025-03-02 to 2025-03-08. • Application must be made by a single organisation responsible for project delivery. • Application must include a budget for eligible expenditure. • Applicant must provide at least 10% co-contribution from other sources, monetary or in-kind. • Successful applicants must obtain public liability insurance of at least $10000000. • Only one Expression of Interest/application per organisation is permitted. • Ineligible: individuals and groups of individuals, including sole traders. • Ineligible: unincorporated organisations. • Ineligible: for-profit commercial organisations and entities. • Ineligible: subcontractors applying on behalf of non-eligible organisations. • Ineligible: New South Wales Government or Australian Government agencies or their entities. • Ineligible: applicants requesting 100% project funding from Women NSW. • Ineligible: projects already receiving New South Wales or Commonwealth Government funding. • Ineligible: applicants with outstanding acquittal requirements with Women NSW. • Ineligible: applicants with an obligation under the NSW National Redress Scheme who have not joined the Scheme.
Applicants must be legally constituted Australian-based entities in one of three categories: Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Organisations, New South Wales local councils and shires (including regional organisations of councils and consortia of councils), or incorporated not-for-profit organisations including community organisations. Applicants must generally be based within New South Wales unless they can demonstrate the project will run in and for the benefit of women and/or girls in New South Wales and that the organisation meets all regulatory and business requirements. Projects must be held during NSW Women’s Week between 2 March 2025 and 8 March 2025. Applications must include a budget for eligible expenditure and a minimum 10 per cent contribution from other sources, monetary or in-kind. Successful applicants must obtain public liability insurance of at least $10 million. Only one application may be submitted per organisation. Ineligible applicants include individuals and sole traders, unincorporated organisations, for-profit entities, government agencies and entities, applicants seeking 100 per cent project funding, projects already receiving New South Wales or Commonwealth funding, applicants with outstanding acquittals with Women NSW, and applicants with obligations under the NSW National Redress Scheme who have not joined the scheme.
