Who Can Apply

• Applicant must be a legally constituted Australian-based entity. • Eligible entity types include Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Organisations, incorporated not-for-profit organisations, and social enterprises. • Applicant must be willing to obtain public liability insurance of at least $10000000 if successful. • Application must include a budget for eligible expenditure only. • Applicant must provide a minimum 10% contribution from other sources, cash or in-kind. • Application must be made by a single organisation responsible for project delivery. • Applicant must be based in New South Wales, unless it can demonstrate the project will run in and benefit women in New South Wales and meets all regulatory requirements. • Project must be delivered between July 2025 and 30 June 2027. • Funding request must be between $150000 and $250000. • Project must target and support one nominated focus community. • Individuals and sole traders are ineligible. • Unincorporated organisations are ineligible. • For-profit commercial organisations and entities are ineligible. • Government agencies and their entities are ineligible. • Applicants requesting 100% project funding from Women NSW are ineligible. • Projects already receiving NSW or Commonwealth Government funding are ineligible. • Applicants with outstanding acquittal requirements with Women NSW are ineligible. • Applicants with obligations under the NSW National Redress Scheme who have not joined the Scheme are ineligible. • Additional evidence and registration requirements apply to ACCOs, not-for-profits and social enterprises.
Applicants must be legally constituted Australian-based entities and fall within one of the eligible categories: Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Organisations, incorporated not-for-profit organisations (including community organisations, industry associations, peak bodies and Chambers of Commerce), or social enterprises. Applicants must be willing to obtain at least $10 million public liability insurance if successful, submit a budget covering eligible expenditure only, and include a minimum 10 per cent contribution from other sources in cash or in-kind. Applications must be submitted by a single organisation that accepts responsibility for project delivery. Applicants must be based within New South Wales unless they can demonstrate the project will run in and benefit women in New South Wales and that the organisation meets all regulatory and business requirements. Projects must be delivered between July 2025 and 30 June 2027 and request between $150,000 and $250,000. Projects must target one nominated focus community. Ineligible applicants include individuals and sole traders, unincorporated organisations, for-profit commercial entities, subcontractors applying on behalf of non-eligible organisations, government agencies and entities, applicants seeking 100 per cent project funding from Women NSW, projects already receiving NSW or Commonwealth funding, applicants with outstanding acquittals with Women NSW, and applicants with obligations under the NSW National Redress Scheme who have not joined the Scheme. Additional category-specific requirements apply for ACCOs, not-for-profits and social enterprises, including registration or certification evidence.
