What is the Anchor Business Support Grant Program?
Who is eligible for the Anchor Business Support Grant Program?
- Must be a business physically located and operating within the Northern Rivers.
- Must hold an active Australian Business Number registered prior to 2022-02-22.
- Must be registered within Northern Rivers as the main business location on the Australian Business Register.
- Must employ at least 200 full-time equivalent employees within Northern Rivers as at 2022-02-21.
- Must have suffered significant damage to assets directly from the disaster event.
- Must intend to continue operating or re-establish operations within the Northern Rivers as the main business location.
- Must have operated in the Northern Rivers for at least 12 months prior to 2022-02-22.
- Must have been financially viable prior to the disaster event.
- Exceptional circumstances may be considered for businesses with significant Northern Rivers operations even if not registered there as their main business location.
- Cannot have received certain alternative DRFA grants or concessional loans for the same disaster event.
- Cannot be listed on a public securities exchange or be more than 20% owned by a listed entity.
- Cannot operate in more than one country or be part of a multinational group.
- Cannot be a government entity or wholly owned by a government entity.
- Cannot be in liquidation or provisional liquidation.
- Only one application is permitted per ABN.
