Who Can Apply

• Applicant must be a Community Housing Provider (CHP). • Applicant must be registered in New South Wales as approved and compliant under the National Regulatory System for Community Housing (NRSCH). • Applicant must be in NRSCH tier 1, 2 or 3. • Applicant must be the legal owner or manager of the property and have rights to carry out the project with owner agreement where required. • Applicant must hold relevant insurances, including public liability insurance of $20 million per claim. • Applicant must hold workers compensation insurance as required by law. • Applicant must hold comprehensive motor vehicle insurance. • Applicant must be registered for GST. • Applicant must hold a valid ABN. • Applicant must not be subject to insolvency events. • Applicant must provide the minimum mandatory co-contribution: Tier 1 25%, Tier 2 15%, Tier 3 10%. • Projects must install eligible energy upgrades on social housing properties owned or managed by CHPs in New South Wales. • Projects involving properties outside New South Wales, affordable housing, or state-owned public housing are not eligible.
