Who Can Apply

• Lived in a rental property in a local government area included in Natural Disaster Declaration AGRN 1212 before the disaster as your primary residence • Cannot return to that rental property because it is uninhabitable due to the disaster • Household taxable income must be below $100,000 per year ($1923 per week) • Must be a renter, not a landlord claiming expenses for a rented-out property • Owner-occupiers and homeowners cannot apply • People who were not living in a rental property prior to the event cannot apply • Only one application per household; someone from your household must not have already applied on your behalf
Applicants must have been living in a rental property in a local government area included in Natural Disaster Declaration AGRN 1212 before the disaster as their primary residence, and must be unable to return because the property is uninhabitable due to the disaster. Household taxable income must be below $100,000 per year ($1923 per week). Landlords claiming expenses for rented properties, owner-occupiers or homeowners, people who were not living in a rental property prior to the event, and households where someone has already applied on their behalf are not eligible.
