Suitably qualified pastoral care staff required Staff must have skills and experience to deliver services to the inmate community Religious qualifications or endorsement by a recognised religious institution are acceptable Mental health and referral competencies are highly desirable
All pastoral care staff need to be suitably qualified and recognised as having the skills and experience to deliver pastoral care services to the inmate community, and/or hold religious qualifications or be endorsed by a recognised religious institution. It is highly desirable for staff to hold either internal or external qualifications, including competencies in mental health and making appropriate referrals.
