Who is eligible for the 2023-24 Regional Filming Fund?
- Must meet Screen NSW general eligibility requirements in the Terms of Trade.
- Production must film on location in Regional New South Wales for a minimum of five shooting days in a single Local Government Area.
- At least one key creative must be New South Wales-based.
- Production company must be registered in New South Wales and have its principal place of business in New South Wales, unless the production has eligible New South Wales spend of at least $5000000.
- At least 50% of the total budget must be expended in New South Wales.
- Production must be fully financed at the time of application, except for eligible concurrent agency funding circumstances.
- Feature films must have distribution in place.
- Television drama, narrative comedy and factual/documentary programs must have a financial commitment from a broadcaster, subscription service or distributor.
- Eligible project types include feature films, television drama and narrative comedy, factual/documentary programs, animation series, and creative interactive screen entertainment.
- Ineligible projects include infotainment, lifestyle, travel, magazine, sports, education, game shows, current affairs, news, community television, shorts under 60 minutes, and student productions.
