Who Can Apply

Applicants must submit a joint application that includes at least one eligible Australian organisation and at least one eligible Indo-Pacific organisation from an economy listed in Appendix A of the grant opportunity guidelines. The group must nominate a lead eligible Australian organisation, which must have an Australian Business Number, an account with an Australian financial institution, and be an entity type outlined in section 4.1 of the guidelines. Indo-Pacific organisations must be domiciled in an eligible economy listed in Appendix A. Projects must target at least one of the following supply chains: solar photovoltaic, hydrogen electrolyser, or battery supply chains, and must target one or more eligible supply chain stages: raw material processing, component manufacture, assembly, or recycling. Projects must be research and development projects or feasibility studies, be undertaken in Australia and/or at least one eligible Indo-Pacific economy, include mandatory co-contributions of at least 5% of total eligible expenditure, run for a minimum of 6 months, and be completed by 31 March 2028.
