Who Can Apply

Open to individuals or organisations delivering sustainability initiatives in Victoria. Projects must fit one of six sustainability award categories. Industry Leader stream applies to initiatives above stated size thresholds. Community Champion stream applies to initiatives below stated size thresholds.
Entries are for the 2022 Premier's Sustainability Awards and are aimed at initiatives delivered by individuals or organisations in Victoria. Two award streams are described: Stream 1 - Industry Leader for initiatives delivered by an individual or organisation with more than $250,000 turnover, 10 employees, 100 volunteers, 10,000 community members affected by the project, or $50,000 per year in donations, grants or similar funding to run the project; and Stream 2 - Community Champion for initiatives delivered by an individual or organisation with less than those same thresholds. Eligible initiatives align with one of the six sustainability award categories.

Projects and initiatives that deliver sustainability outcomes in areas such as circular economy innovation, future energy, healthy and fair society, sustainable places and destinations, thriving environment, and waste and litter reduction.
