The grant is for Australian industry organisations, research institutions and partnerships with expertise in renewable technology. Funding covers up to 60 per cent of eligible expenditure, up to a maximum of $14 million. Applicants must fund the remaining eligible and ineligible project costs themselves, and their contribution must be cash. Funding from other Commonwealth, state, territory or local government sources cannot be used to fund the applicant's share of eligible expenditure.
