Applicants must meet the Screen NSW Terms of Trade. Writer applicants must be New South Wales residents and writers living with disability as defined under the NSW Disability Inclusion Act 2014. Producer applicants must be responsible for producing the project and have the rights to carry out the project, including ownership or appropriate licences or copyright arrangements, and where based on third-party underlying work, at minimum an appropriate option agreement with suitable option periods. For playwrights, journalists, audio drama writers, podcast scriptwriters and authors, works must be professionally produced or published by recognised organisations; community, amateur or self-published works without professional recognition or significant audience reach are excluded. Eligible projects must be narrative fiction, documentary or factual long-form projects, including children's feature films and series, for cinema, video on demand, broadcast television or online release platforms.
