Who Can Apply

• Applicant must be a not-for-profit organisation, charitable organisation, public company limited by guarantee, or local government authority based in New South Wales • For-profit organisations cannot apply • Individuals cannot apply • Applicant must be located in New South Wales • Project must occur in New South Wales • Project must be conducted between 2023-02-01 and 2023-02-27 • Only one application per organisation per project is accepted • Applicant must hold public liability insurance of at least $20 million, or apply via a sponsoring body • Applicant must provide a COVID-19 Safety Plan • Category 2 grant funding must be matched by 50% of the organisation's resources • Catering costs are not funded for Category 2 projects • Funding cannot be used for commercial for-profit activities • Funding cannot be used for capital works or building work • Funding cannot be used for permanent salaries or wages • Funding cannot be used for permanent equipment purchases such as tablets and computers • Funding cannot be used for business-as-usual or general operating expenses • Funding cannot be used for gambling or alcohol-related activities • Funding cannot be used for travel to the Premier's Gala Concerts • Projects coordinated by New South Wales Government departments and statutory authorities are not eligible • The same program or activity cannot be funded twice
Applicants must be not-for-profit organisations, charitable organisations, public companies limited by guarantee, or local government authorities based in New South Wales. Applicants must be located in New South Wales and the proposed project must occur in New South Wales between 1 February 2023 and 27 February 2023. Projects must align with the NSW Seniors Festival objectives and Category 2 requirements. Grant funding for Category 2 must be matched by 50% of the organisation's resources. Applicants must provide evidence of public liability insurance of at least $20 million, or apply via a sponsoring body if not covered, and provide a COVID-19 Safety Plan. Only one application per organisation per project is accepted. Ineligible applicants include for-profit organisations and individuals. Ineligible activities include commercial for-profit activities, capital works, permanent salaries or wages, permanent equipment purchases, business-as-usual operating costs, gambling or alcohol-related activities, travel to the Premier's Gala Concerts, projects coordinated by NSW Government departments and statutory authorities, duplicate applications for the same activity, and catering costs for Category 2 projects.
