• Stream 1 applicants must be Aboriginal community-controlled organisations. • Stream 1 organisations must be incorporated under relevant legislation. • Stream 1 organisations must be controlled and operated by Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. • Stream 1 organisations must be connected to the community or communities in which they deliver services. • Stream 1 organisations must be governed by a majority Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander governing body. • Stream 1 organisations must be accredited against NSW Health approved accreditation standards for AOD treatment services, or be working towards this. • Stream 2 applicants may be NGOs or ACCOs. • Stream 2 applicants must be not-for-profit entities incorporated under eligible Australian legislation. • Stream 2 applicants must hold current accreditation against NSW Health approved accreditation standards for AOD treatment services, or be working towards this.
The grant opportunity had two streams. Stream 1 was for registered Aboriginal community-controlled organisations that were incorporated under relevant legislation, controlled and operated by Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people, connected to the communities in which they deliver services, governed by a majority Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander governing body, and accredited against NSW Health approved accreditation standards for organisations delivering AOD treatment services or working towards this. Stream 2 was for NGOs and ACCOs that were not-for-profit entities incorporated under eligible Australian legislation and that held current accreditation against NSW Health approved accreditation standards for organisations delivering AOD treatment services or were working towards this.
