Who Can Apply

• Applicant must be a registered residential strata scheme located in New South Wales. • Building must be classified as class 2 under the National Construction Code. • Building must have 10 or more units and private off-street parking. • Stage 1 applicant must be a nominated representative of the strata scheme. • Stage 1 applicant must have strata committee approval for the feasibility assessment. • Stage 1 applicant must have financial approval to cover the $2,000 feasibility assessment contribution. • Stage 1 applicant must complete the pre-application checklist. • Stage 2 applicant must have successfully completed stage 1. • Stage 2 applicant must be a nominated representative of the strata scheme. • Stage 2 applicant must have owners corporation approval for the electrical works. • Stage 2 applicant must have financial approval to cover remaining project costs. • Stage 2 applicant must complete the stage 2 pre-application checklist. • Entirely commercial strata schemes are not eligible. • Buildings that are not registered residential strata schemes are not eligible. • Non-class 2 buildings are not eligible. • Apartment buildings with fewer than 10 units are not eligible. • Apartment buildings with 4 or more chargers already installed are not eligible.

Ineligible applicants or sites include entirely commercial strata schemes, buildings that are not registered residential strata schemes, non-class 2 buildings, apartment buildings with fewer than 10 units, and apartment buildings with 4 or more chargers already installed.
