• Applicant may be an individual or a business • Must have purchased or placed a deposit on an eligible EV prior to 2024-01-01 • Vehicle must be an eligible full battery electric vehicle or hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle • Vehicle must be brand-new and not previously registered • Demonstrator vehicles are not eligible • Must provide a New South Wales Certificate of Registration showing stamp duty paid • Must provide a current and valid New South Wales driver licence for the applicant or business representative • Must provide the vehicle purchase contract including sale price and deposit payment where applicable • Must provide a deposit receipt dated on or prior to 2023-12-31 • Tax invoice is required for interstate purchases or purchases from Tesla, Polestar and Vyro
Applicants include individuals and businesses that purchased or placed a deposit on an eligible full battery electric vehicle or hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle prior to 2024-01-01 and are awaiting delivery. The vehicle must be eligible under the NSW EV rebate criteria and demonstrator vehicles are not eligible. Applications require supporting evidence including a New South Wales Certificate of Registration showing stamp duty paid, a current and valid New South Wales driver licence for the applicant or business representative, the purchase contract showing sale price and deposit payment where applicable, a deposit receipt dated on or prior to 2023-12-31, and in some cases a tax invoice for interstate purchases or purchases from Tesla, Polestar and Vyro.
