Must be a Territory Enterprise and an incorporated body. Must have no outstanding acquittals from previous Territory recreational fishing grants. Project must be completed within 12 months. Private land projects without public access are ineligible; several entity types are excluded unless partnered appropriately.
To be considered for funding, applicants must be a Territory Enterprise, be an incorporated body, have no outstanding acquittals from a previous Territory recreational fishing grant fund, and be able to complete the project in 12 months. Projects on private land with no public access will not be considered. Ineligible applicants include entities operating outside the Northern Territory such as national or peak organisations, unincorporated bodies unless partnered with an incorporated body that is the primary applicant, for-profit organisations not partnered with a not-for-profit organisation, Local Government Councils not partnered with a not-for-profit organisation, Northern Territory Government agencies including government schools, universities, and projects on private land with no public access.
