Who Can Apply

Must have an active Australian Business Number. Must be an eligible incorporated entity, not-for-profit, Indigenous organisation, specified council, or the Outback Communities Authority. Applicants must be in the Kimba or Hawker regions of South Australia. Individuals, partnerships, and most Commonwealth or state government bodies are not eligible.
Applicants must have an Australian Business Number (ABN) and be one of the following: a company incorporated in Australia; an incorporated trustee on behalf of a trust; a not-for-profit organisation, including community groups with voting and/or financial membership of at least 5 individuals; an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander organisation, council or incorporated association; The Flinders Ranges Council or the District Council of Kimba; or the Outback Communities Authority. Joint applications are acceptable if there is an eligible lead organisation. Individuals, partnerships, trusts without an incorporated trustee, organisations not included in the guidelines, and Commonwealth or state government agencies or bodies (including government business enterprises) are not eligible, except for the Outback Communities Authority. The program is for organisations, businesses, authorities or councils in the Kimba and Hawker regions.
