To be eligible, applicants must be a not-for-profit organisation, be a legal entity with the capacity to enter into a legally binding grant agreement with the Commonwealth, and be one of the following entity types: Company, Cooperative, Incorporated Association, Indigenous Corporation, or Statutory Entity. Trustees applying on behalf of a trust are eligible if the trustee is one of the listed eligible entity types. Applicants may be asked to demonstrate not-for-profit status through current ACNC registration or a governing document with a relevant not-for-profit clause. Consortia are acceptable if there is a lead applicant that is an eligible entity and solely accountable to the Commonwealth.
