Who Can Apply

Must have an active Australian Business Number, be non-tax-exempt, and be registered for Goods and Services Tax. Must be incorporated in Australia and be a trading corporation or similar eligible incorporated entity. Project must align with a National Manufacturing Priority and have at least $2 million in eligible project expenditure. Applicant must show board or Chief Executive Officer support and capacity to fund the non-grant share of project costs.
Applicants must be eligible entities with an Australian Business Number, be non-tax-exempt, and be registered for Goods and Services Tax. They must be incorporated in Australia, including start-ups and trading corporations, and their trading activities must form a sufficiently significant or substantial part of the corporation’s activities. Projects must align with one of the National Manufacturing Priorities and have at least $2 million in eligible project expenditure. Applications must also show board or Chief Executive Officer support and demonstrate the applicant can meet project costs not covered by the grant. Grant funding can cover up to 50% of eligible project expenditure.
