Who Can Apply

• Must have an active Australian Business Number and be registered for GST • Must be a non-tax-exempt entity incorporated in Australia, including a trading corporation • Project must align with a National Manufacturing Priority and have at least $2 million in eligible project expenditure • Applicant must show board or CEO support and capacity to fund the balance of project costs
Applicants must be an eligible entity with an Australian Business Number, be non-tax-exempt, and be registered for GST. They must be incorporated in Australia, including start-ups and trading corporations, with trading activities that are a sufficiently significant or substantial part of the corporation's activities. Projects must align with one of the National Manufacturing Priorities and have at least $2 million in eligible project expenditure. Applications must include evidence of board or CEO support and demonstrate the applicant can fund project costs not covered by the grant. Grant funding can range from $1 million to $20 million and cannot exceed 50% of total eligible project expenditure.
