Who Can Apply

• Must have an active ABN and be registered for GST • Must be a non-tax-exempt entity incorporated in Australia and operating as a trading corporation • Project must align with a National Manufacturing Priority and have at least $2 million in eligible expenditure • Must show board/CEO support and capacity to fund the applicant contribution
To be eligible, applicants must have an Australian Business Number (ABN), be non-tax-exempt, be registered for Goods and Services Tax (GST), and be an entity incorporated in Australia, including start-ups and a trading corporation, where trading activities form a sufficiently significant proportion of the corporation’s overall activities or are a substantial and not merely peripheral activity. Applicants must also demonstrate that the project aligns with one of the National Manufacturing Priorities, has a minimum of $2 million in eligible project expenditure, is supported by the board or Chief Executive Officer (or equivalent if there is no board), and that the applicant can meet project costs not covered by the grant.
