Who Can Apply

Must have an active ABN, be non-tax-exempt, and be registered for GST. Must be an entity incorporated in Australia, including eligible trading corporations. Project must align with one National Manufacturing Priority. Project must have at least $2 million in eligible expenditure and applicant must fund remaining costs.
To be eligible, applicants must have an Australian Business Number (ABN), be non-tax-exempt, be registered for the Goods and Services Tax (GST), and be an entity incorporated in Australia, including start-ups and a trading corporation, where trading activities form a sufficiently significant proportion of the corporation’s overall activities or are a substantial and not merely peripheral activity. Applicants must also demonstrate that the project aligns with one of the National Manufacturing Priorities, has a minimum of $2 million in eligible project expenditure, is supported by the board or Chief Executive Officer (or equivalent if there is no board), and that the applicant can meet project costs not covered by the grant.
