Who Can Apply

• Incorporated not-for-profit organisation with a business address in Victoria • Must hold an ABN, be GST registered, and have operated for at least 2 years • Must have experience delivering programs addressing social and/or cultural barriers to economic participation • Projects must be based in Victoria and support priority groups to start microenterprises
Applicants must be incorporated organisations with not-for-profit status, have a business address in Victoria, conduct the proposed activities in Victoria, hold an active Australian Business Number at the date of application, be registered for GST at the date of application, have been in operation for at least 2 years, and have experience delivering programs that address social and/or cultural barriers to economic participation. Ineligible applicants include Commonwealth, State and Local government agencies or public bodies, companies not incorporated in Australia, incorporated trustees on behalf of a trust, industry associations or business chambers, publicly funded research organisations, and private or for-profit businesses. Projects must be based in Victoria and work with people who wish to start their own microenterprise from one or more priority groups: women experiencing disadvantage, young people aged 18 to 25 years, low-income or unemployed people, Aboriginal people, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and people with disability. Projects should work closely with community organisations and relevant stakeholders and include culturally appropriate service delivery tailored to a priority group or cohort.
