To be eligible, businesses must provide mining equipment, technology or services to the mining sector, be based in Western Australia, have an Australian business number (ABN), be registered for goods and services tax (GST), have an annual turnover of less than $50 million per annum, and be a company incorporated in Australia or an incorporated trustee applying on behalf of a trust. Eligible projects must also meet the definition of minerals research as outlined in the guidelines.
