Who Can Apply

Must have an active Australian Business Number and be incorporated in Australia or be a co-operative. Project must involve Australian producers trialling low emissions feed technologies. Joint applications are allowed, but the lead organisation must be eligible. Individuals, unincorporated associations, non-corporate Commonwealth entities, and certain excluded organisations are not eligible.
To be eligible, applicants must have an Australian Business Number (ABN) and be either an entity incorporated in Australia or a co-operative. Joint applications are acceptable and encouraged, but must have an eligible lead organisation. Applications are only accepted where the project is supported by the applicant's board (or equivalent), the applicant can complete the project and meet any costs not covered by grant funding, the applicant certifies that research data and outputs will be provided to the department and any nominated third party for developing the emissions framework, the applicant declares that it has or will have relevant intellectual property arrangements to undertake the project, and all mandatory attachments are provided. Ineligible applicants include individuals, unincorporated associations, non-corporate Commonwealth entities, organisations not included in section 4.1 of the grant opportunity guidelines, and organisations or project partners listed on the National Redress Scheme list of institutions that have not joined or signified intent to join the scheme.
