• Must have an Australian Business Number (ABN) • Must be incorporated in Australia • Must be one of the following: a medical research institute, a university, a corporate Commonwealth entity, a corporation (including businesses and not for profits), or a state or territory government entity • Joint applications are encouraged if there is an eligible lead organisation • Individuals are not eligible • Partnerships are not eligible • Unincorporated associations are not eligible • Trusts are not eligible, except where an incorporated trustee applies on behalf of a trust • Non-corporate Commonwealth entities are not eligible • Organisations not included in section 3.1 of the grant opportunity guidelines are not eligible
To be eligible, applicants must have an Australian Business Number (ABN), be incorporated in Australia, and be one of the following entities in accordance with the Medical Research Future Fund Act 2015: a medical research institute, a university, a corporate Commonwealth entity, a corporation (including businesses and not for profits), or a state or territory government entity. Joint applications are encouraged if there is an eligible lead organisation. Individuals, partnerships, unincorporated associations, trusts (except where an incorporated trustee applies on behalf of a trust), non-corporate Commonwealth entities, and organisations not included in section 3.1 of the grant opportunity guidelines are not eligible.
