• Must have an active Australian Business Number and be incorporated in Australia • Eligible entity types include medical research institutes, universities, corporations, corporate Commonwealth entities, and state or territory governments/entities • Joint applications are allowed with an eligible lead organisation • Individuals, partnerships, unincorporated associations, trusts and non-corporate Commonwealth entities are not eligible
Applicants must have an Australian Business Number (ABN), be incorporated in Australia, and under sections 20 and 24 of the MRFF Act 2015 be one of the following: a medical research institute, a university, a corporate Commonwealth entity, a corporation (including businesses and not for profits), a state or territory government, or a state or territory government entity. Joint applications are encouraged if the lead organisation is eligible. Individuals, partnerships, unincorporated associations, trusts (except via an incorporated trustee), non-corporate Commonwealth entities, and organisations not included in section 3.1 of the grant opportunity guidelines are not eligible.
