Research must complement, and not duplicate, existing MRFF Accelerated Research investments in related CHD studies. Projects must be completed by 30 June 2024, with grants up to $10 million and up to 100% of eligible costs.

New research must be complementary to, and not duplicate, existing Medical Research Future Fund Accelerated Research investments, including the Stem Cells Australia study into development of human heart tissue and the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute project extending the Cardiovascular Genetic Disorders Flagship study. There is no minimum grant amount, the maximum grant amount is $10 million, and grants can cover up to 100% of eligible project costs.
