Eligible organisation able to support innovative medical research projects Application must be submitted to one stream only Multiple applications allowed only if each is unique and not the same project twice Stream 3 requires cash co-investment with research sector, state or territory governments, and industry
Applicants must be eligible organisations able to support innovative medical research projects that improve health benefits for Australians. Applications must be submitted to only one of the four streams. An organisation may submit more than one application if each application is unique, but the same project cannot be submitted twice. Applicants must specify the stream in their application. Stream 3 requires co-investment in cash only with the research sector, state and/or territory governments, and industry.

Establishing or extending critical research infrastructure, including facilities, personnel, equipment, new research methodologies, omics-led approaches, infrastructure linkage strategies, artificial intelligence health applications, co-invested research platforms and services, and mRNA technology platforms or equipment.
