• Have an existing presence in Victoria

• Hold an active Australian Business Number (ABN)
• Be an employing business registered for WorkCover insurance with WorkSafe Victoria
• Agree to meet any co-contribution requirements with eligible cash expenditure
• Be currently engaged in manufacturing or the manufacturing supply chain, or demonstrate a genuine commercial connection to the manufacturing supply chain in Victoria
• Agree to conduct the proposed activities in Victoria
• Have met all industrial relations obligations as an employer in accordance with the National Employment Standards
• Agree to participate in future program evaluation activity
• Provide financial reports required for a Financial Risk Assessment
• Comply with the Fair Jobs Code if applicable
• If requesting grants of 500000 or more, hold a Pre-Assessment Certificate (PAC)
The program is open to manufacturers with an existing presence in Victoria who require support to increase their capability to manufacture products or components for local and global supply chains contributing to net zero and low emissions technologies. Applicants must be an eligible legal entity, hold an Australian Business Number, be an employing business registered for WorkCover insurance with WorkSafe Victoria, agree to meet any co-contribution requirements with eligible cash expenditure, and be currently engaged in manufacturing or the manufacturing supply chain or demonstrate a genuine commercial connection to the manufacturing supply chain in Victoria. Applicants must also attest that they will conduct the proposed activities in Victoria, have met industrial relations obligations in accordance with the National Employment Standards, will participate in future program evaluation activity, will provide financial reports for a Financial Risk Assessment, and will comply with the Fair Jobs Code if applicable. Applicants requesting grants of 500000 or more will be required to hold a Pre-Assessment Certificate.
