Who Can Apply

Must be an existing battery manufacturer operating within the battery energy storage supply chain. Must have an ABN, be registered for GST, and have at least 50% Australian ownership. Must be a for-profit entity or an incorporated not-for-profit Aboriginal Corporation operating as a commercial enterprise. Must have a physical business presence with staff in Western Australia and intend to operate in Western Australia for at least 3 more years.
To be eligible, applicants must have an Australian business number (ABN), have a minimum 50% Australian ownership, be a for-profit entity or an incorporated not-for-profit Aboriginal Corporation operating as a commercial enterprise, be operating within the battery energy storage supply chain, be registered for goods and services tax (GST), provide evidence of a physical business presence including full-time equivalent employees in Western Australia, and intend to continue operating in Western Australia for at least another 3 years.
