The LGBTIQA+ Organisational Development program provides Victorian grants to support LGBTIQA+ organisations, groups and eligible businesses to build capacity, improve sustainability, strengthen governance and better serve diverse LGBTIQA+ communities. Funding is available through two streams for organisational development activities such as planning, training, engagement, research and limited equipment purchases.

• Applicants include eligible LGBTIQA+ organisations, groups and businesses in Victoria • Not-for-profit groups can apply • Unincorporated groups may apply with an auspice • Proposed activities must positively impact Victoria's LGBTIQA+ communities • Proposed activities must address at least one program objective: capacity building, sustainability, accessibility and inclusion, expansion, or governance • Activities generally must be conducted in Victoria, with limited allowance for cross-border communities • Successful applicants must enter into a Victorian Common Funding Agreement • Successful applicants must start funded activities after 2026-06-01 and finish by 2027-06-30 • Successful applicants must have appropriate public liability insurance • Where relevant, Working with Children checks are required for staff and adults in regular direct unsupervised contact with young people • If funding supports children, the applicant must be a separate legal entity and appropriately insured against child abuse
Eligible applicants are LGBTIQA+ organisations, groups and businesses in Victoria, including not-for-profit groups and unincorporated groups applying with an auspice. Proposed activities must show positive impact for Victoria's LGBTIQA+ communities and deliver against at least one of the five program objectives: capacity building, sustainability, accessibility and inclusion, expansion, or governance. Activities must be conducted in Victoria, except support for cross-border communities may be allowed. Successful applicants must enter into a Victorian Common Funding Agreement, start activities after 1 June 2026, finish by 30 June 2027, hold appropriate public liability insurance, and where relevant arrange Working with Children checks. If funding supports services or activities for children, the applicant must be a separate legal entity that can be sued in its own right in child abuse proceedings and be appropriately insured against child abuse.
