Applicants can be sole traders, clubs or organisations seeking to become a registered swim provider for the Learn to Swim Program. Before applying, applicants must have current public liability insurance for no less than $10 million for any single event, working with children clearances for the applicant and anyone else involved in delivering programs including committee members, a current Member Protection Policy demonstrating awareness and application of obligations under the Northern Territory Care and Protection of Children Act 2007 including mandatory reporting, and AUSTSWIM certification. Applicants must create an organisation account on the GrantsNT website, even if they are a sole trader, then complete and submit the application.
