• Applicant must be an organisation in Victoria collaborating on R&D with a firm in Jiangsu Province
• Project must include at least one Victorian organisation with a trading history and ABN
• Project must include at least one Jiangsu Province company
• Project must involve market-driven development of a new technological product or process
• Victorian applicant must be a for-profit company or recognised research organisation
• Victorian applicant must have its registered office and principal place of business in Victoria
• Victorian applicant must provide a cash co-contribution at least equal to the grant amount awarded
• Victorian applicant must not have been awarded more than A$200,000 plus GST through any Victorian Government program in relation to the proposed technology
• Victorian applicant must not currently be involved in litigation against the State Government of Victoria
• Jiangsu applicant must be an R&D-performing company registered and operating in Jiangsu Province
• Victorian and Jiangsu applicants must be separate legal entities with no ownership, governance or management links
• Partners should demonstrate balanced financial contributions and balanced mutual benefit
• Grant recipients must pass financial risk assessment by DJPR
Organisations in Victoria working on collaborative R&D with firms in Jiangsu Province may be eligible. Projects must include at least one Victorian organisation with a trading history and active ABN and at least one Jiangsu Province company. The Victorian applicant must be a for-profit company or recognised research organisation with its registered office and principal place of business in Victoria, provide a cash co-contribution at least equal to the grant amount, not have received more than A$200,000 plus GST from any Victorian Government program in relation to the proposed technology, and not be involved in litigation against the State Government of Victoria. Jiangsu applicants must be R&D-performing companies registered and operating in Jiangsu Province. Victorian and Jiangsu applicants must be entirely separate legal entities with no ownership, governance, director, officer, senior manager or other financial ties.
