Who Can Apply

• Must be an Australian-based incorporated legal entity • Must be one of: not-for-profit organisation, social enterprise, or majority women-owned and managed small business • Must have an active Australian Business Number (ABN) • Must hold appropriate public liability insurance of at least $10000000 • Must address NSW National Redress Scheme sanctions requirements • Must have an account with an Australian authorised deposit-taking institution • Must not have outstanding acquittals with Women NSW • Must not be receiving or have received government assistance for the proposed project or a similar project • Must include a minimum applicant contribution of 10% of total project cost, cash or in-kind • Must provide a project budget • Must be a single organisation that accepts responsibility for project delivery • Projects must be delivered in New South Wales • Individuals and sole traders are not eligible • Unincorporated organisations are not eligible • Insolvent entities are not eligible • Trusts, trustees and partnerships are not eligible • Federal, state, territory and local government agencies or bodies are not eligible • Applicants requesting 100% of project funding from Women NSW are not eligible • Applicants with outstanding acquittal requirements with Women NSW are not eligible • Applicants with obligations under the NSW National Redress Scheme who have not joined the Scheme are not eligible
Applicants must be Australian-based incorporated legal entities and must be either a not-for-profit organisation, a social enterprise, or a majority women-owned and managed small business. Applicants must have an active ABN, at least $10 million public liability insurance, an account with an Australian authorised deposit-taking institution, no outstanding acquittals with Women NSW, and must not be receiving or have received government assistance for the same or a similar project. Applicants must provide at least a 10 percent cash or in-kind contribution to total project cost, provide a project budget, accept sole responsibility for project delivery, and address NSW National Redress Scheme sanctions requirements. Ineligible applicants include individuals, sole traders, unincorporated organisations, insolvent entities, trusts, partnerships, government bodies, applicants seeking 100 percent project funding, and certain other excluded categories.
