Who Can Apply

Prerequisite: Advisory Service report required before applying; Matched funding: grant up to 50% of eligible expenditure (cash co-contribution required); Funding range $100k–$5m; Project period typically 12–24 months
• Must have an Australian Business Number (ABN). • Must be non-income-tax-exempt. • Must be registered for GST. • Must be one of: company incorporated in Australia; co-operative; incorporated trustee applying on behalf of a trust. • Must have combined annual turnover < $20m for each of the 3 financial years prior to application. • Must have received a report through the program’s Advisory Service. • Must own or have access to required IP and have the exclusive right to commercialise IP generated. • Must provide evidence you can fund at least your share (grant covers up to 50% of eligible expenditure; contributions must be cash) and provide an accountant declaration. • Not eligible if (examples): individual/partnership/unincorporated association; government body; non-corporate Commonwealth entity; certain National Redress Scheme exclusions; (and) if an employer of 100+ employees that has not complied with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012.
