Who Can Apply

• Have an Australian Business Number (ABN) • Be non-income-tax-exempt • Be registered for the Goods and Services Tax (GST) • Be a company incorporated in Australia, a co-operative, or an incorporated trustee applying on behalf of a trust • Have combined annual turnover of less than $20 million for each of the three financial years prior to lodgement • Have received a report through the program's Advisory Service • Own or have access to the intellectual property needed to undertake the project • Own or have the exclusive right to commercialise any IP generated from the project • Provide evidence of ability to fund at least the applicant share of eligible project expenditure • Provide an accountant declaration confirming ability to fund the project
To be eligible, applicants must have an Australian Business Number (ABN), be non-income-tax-exempt, be registered for GST, and be one of the following: a company incorporated in Australia, a co-operative, or an incorporated trustee applying on behalf of a trust. Applications are only accepted from participants in the program who have a combined annual turnover of less than $20 million for each of the three financial years prior to lodgement, have received a report through the program's Advisory Service, own or have access to the intellectual property needed for the project and own or have the exclusive right to commercialise any IP generated, and can provide evidence and an accountant declaration showing they can fund their share of eligible project expenditure.
