Who Can Apply
• Have an active Australian Business Number (ABN)
• Be non-income-tax-exempt
• Be registered for the Goods and Services Tax (GST)
• Be a company incorporated in Australia, a co-operative, or an incorporated trustee applying on behalf of a trust
• Be a participant in the program
• Have combined annual turnover of less than $20 million for each of the three financial years prior to application
• Have received a report through the program’s Advisory Service
• Own or have access to the intellectual property needed for the project and own or have the exclusive right to commercialise any IP generated
• Provide evidence of ability to fund at least the applicant share of eligible project expenditure
• Provide an accountant declaration confirming ability to fund the project
Applicants must have an Australian Business Number, be non-income-tax-exempt, be registered for GST, and be either a company incorporated in Australia, a co-operative, or an incorporated trustee applying on behalf of a trust. Applicants must be participants in the program, have combined annual turnover of less than $20 million for each of the three financial years prior to application, have received a report through the program’s Advisory Service, own or have access to the intellectual property needed for the project and the exclusive right to commercialise IP generated, and provide evidence they can fund their share of eligible project expenditure including an accountant declaration.
