Who Can Apply

• Must be an eligible entity with an innovative product, process or service intended for commercialisation and/or growth in one or more National Reconstruction Fund priority areas • Must have combined annual turnover of less than 20000000 for each of the 3 financial years before lodging the application • Must have an Australian Business Number (ABN) • Must not be exempt from paying income tax • Must be registered for goods and services tax (GST) • Must be one of: a company incorporated in Australia, a co-operative, or an incorporated trustee applying on behalf of a trust • Must not be an individual, partnership, trust without an incorporated trustee, or a Commonwealth, state or local government agency or body • Must not be on the National Redress Scheme list of institutions that have not joined or signified intent to join • Employers of 100 or more employees must have complied with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 • To apply for a grant opportunity, must have received an Industry Growth Program Advisory Service report • Minor changes or improvements to existing products or services are not considered innovative and are not eligible
For the Advisory Service, applicants must be eligible entities with an innovative product, process or service they intend to commercialise and/or grow in one or more National Reconstruction Fund priority areas. Eligible entities must have combined annual turnover of less than $20 million for each of the 3 financial years before lodging the application, have an active Australian Business Number, not be exempt from paying income tax, and be registered for GST. Applicants must be a company incorporated in Australia, a co-operative, or an incorporated trustee applying on behalf of a trust. Ineligible applicants include individuals, partnerships, trusts without an incorporated trustee, and Commonwealth, state or local government agencies or bodies. Organisations on the National Redress Scheme non-participation list and employers of 100 or more employees that have not complied with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 are also ineligible. To apply for a grant opportunity, applicants must first have received an Advisory Service report. Grant applications are then assessed for eligibility and merit under the relevant grant opportunity guidelines.
