Who Can Apply
• Applicant must be a Community Preschool, including a mobile preschool.
• Applicant must be receiving funding under the NSW Start Strong for Community Preschools Funding Program or the Mobile Preschools Funding Program.
• Child-based applications must support child or children currently attending the service.
• Eligible children must have constant and ongoing support needs requiring significant adjustments, or a temporary illness or injury requiring short-term adjustment.
• Applications may cover individual or multiple children where the adjustment, equipment or furniture relates to more than one child.
• HLSN funding approval is not required.
This funding is available only to Community Preschools, including mobile preschools, that are receiving funding under the NSW Start Strong for Community Preschools Funding Program or the Mobile Preschools Funding Program. For child-based funding, the child or children must have constant and ongoing support needs requiring significant adjustments to participate in the educational program on the same basis as peers, or have a temporary illness or injury requiring short-term adjustment and possibly specialised equipment. Applications may be for individual or multiple children, and can include shared environment adjustments, equipment or furniture. It is no longer required that the child has approved HLSN funding.
