Who is eligible for the 2026 Inclusive Environments Funding Program - Quarter 2 Payments?
- Applicant must be a community preschool receiving funding under NSW Start Strong for Community Preschools or the Mobile Preschool Funding Program.
- Funding is for child-based applications supporting children currently attending the service.
- Child must be at least 3 years old on or before 31 July in the preschool year, or turn 3 after 31 July with exceptional circumstances.
- Child must either have constant and ongoing support needs requiring significant adjustments, or a temporary illness or injury requiring short-term adjustment.
- Applications may relate to one child or multiple children where the adjustment, equipment or furniture supports more than one child.
- Citizenship and residency status of the child are not considered in determining eligibility.
- Applications for specialised equipment or furniture require supporting evidence from specialised professionals.
- Applications must include itemised quotes excluding GST and, where relevant, freight.
- Applicant must declare there is sufficient space for equipment or furniture to be installed and used safely.
- If total project cost exceeds the grant amount, the preschool must confirm it can fund the difference.
