Who Can Apply

• Applicant must be a community preschool. • Applicant must be receiving funding under NSW Start Strong for Community Preschools or the Mobile Preschool Funding Program. • Community preschool must not have previously received HLSN or IE funding under the current or equivalent earlier programs. • Community preschool must not have any children with disability recorded as attending in the 2025 Annual Preschool Census or applicable 2025 ad hoc data submission. • Applications must include a description of the proposed equipment, furniture or minor construction, itemised quote(s), supporting images or catalogue samples, and a declaration confirming sufficient safe installation space. • If the application exceeds the available grant amount, the applicant must confirm it can fund the difference.
Funding is available only to community preschools receiving funding under the NSW Start Strong for Community Preschools or the Mobile Preschool Funding Program. To be eligible for service-based inclusion readiness funding, the community preschool must not have previously received HLSN or IE funding under the current or equivalent earlier programs, and must not have any children with disability recorded as attending the community preschool in the 2025 Annual Preschool Census or applicable 2025 ad hoc data submission.
