Who is eligible for the AGRN1212 Home Repair Grant?
- Be an owner-occupier, or a landlord of a property that was occupied, in an eligible local government area under AGRN 1212 before the flood
- The home must be uninhabitable because of flood or storm damage
- The property must have been the primary place of residence of the applicant or tenants and lawfully erected at the time of the disaster
- Household gross income must be within the grant income threshold
- Applicant must not be covered by flood insurance
- Applicant must not have a current application for, or previously received, the Disaster Relief Grant or Renters Bond and Advanced Rent Grant
- If applying as a landlord, agree to return the property to the private rental market at its pre-disaster rental rate for at least 6 months following repairs
- Someone else from the household must not have already applied for the grant
- Landlords leasing properties on a short-term basis such as holiday lettings cannot apply
