Must be a Northern Territory homeowner, registered Northern Territory business, or not-for-profit/community organisation operating in the Northern Territory. Only one application per property and per homeowner. Previous Home and Business Battery Scheme recipients are not eligible. Works must use eligible approved battery systems and only commence after grant approval.
Applicants must be a registered owner of a residential property in the Northern Territory, a registered Northern Territory business, or a not-for-profit or community organisation operating in the Northern Territory in owned or leased premises. Only one application is permitted per property and per homeowner. Homeowners who also own a business may apply for one grant for their home and one for their business. Previous recipients of the Home and Business Battery Scheme are not eligible for the new scheme. Funding is for approved battery systems on the Clean Energy Council approved battery list, including eligible batteries and inverters, and may also include solar photovoltaic installation only when installed simultaneously with a battery. Eligible works must only start after approval and must be completed within 6 months of voucher issue.
