Who Can Apply

• Applicant must be a community preschool, including a mobile preschool, in New South Wales • Service must currently receive NSW Start Strong for Community Preschools funding or the Mobile Preschools Funding Program • Child must be at least 3 years old on or before 31 July in the preschool year and not in compulsory schooling, or turn 3 after 31 July with exceptional circumstances • Child must have high learning support needs as defined in the program guidelines • Priority payment requires urgent support and supervision needs due to significant safety concerns • The significant safety concerns box must be selected in the child’s ECCMS application • Priority payment application must be submitted within the first four weeks of the Quarter 2, 3 or 4 application periods • Priority payment is not available for children funded in previous years at the service
Available only to New South Wales community preschools, including mobile preschools, that currently receive NSW Start Strong for Community Preschools funding or the Mobile Preschools Funding Program. Child eligibility criteria also apply: the child must generally be at least 3 years old on or before 31 July in the preschool year and not in compulsory schooling, or turn 3 after 31 July and demonstrate exceptional circumstances. Priority payment is not available for children funded in previous years at the service.
