Who is eligible for the 2025 High Learning Support Needs Funding - Quarter 2 Priority Payments?
- Applicant must be a community preschool or mobile preschool
- Service must currently receive NSW Start Strong for Community Preschools funding or the Mobile Preschools Funding Program
- Child must be at least 3 years old on or before 31 July in the preschool year and not in compulsory schooling, or turn 3 after 31 July with exceptional circumstances
- Child must have high learning support needs as defined in the program guidelines
- Child must require an Individual Learning Plan and consistent support and guidance to participate on the same basis as peers
- Priority payment requires urgent support and supervision needs due to significant safety concerns
- Significant safety concerns must be identified in the ECCMS application
- Priority payment application must be submitted within the first four weeks of the Quarter 2, 3 or 4 application periods
- Priority payment is not available for children funded in previous years at the service
