Who Can Apply
• Applicant must be a not-for-profit community preschool.
• Service must be receiving funding under NSW Start Strong for Community Preschools or the Mobile Preschool Funding Program.
• Funding is not available for places or hours that are Child Care Subsidy approved.
• Child must be at least 3 years old on or before 31 July in the preschool year and not in compulsory schooling, or turn 3 after 31 July and demonstrate exceptional circumstances.
• Child must have high learning support needs as defined in the guidelines.
• Child must require constant and ongoing support needs and significant adjustments, or a temporary illness or injury requiring short-term adjustment.
• Child must require an Individual Learning Plan identifying goals, teaching strategies, and adjustments.
• Child must require consistent support and guidance to engage at the same level as peers.
• Citizenship and residency status are not considered for child eligibility.
Funding is only available to not-for-profit community preschools receiving funding under the NSW Start Strong for Community Preschools or the Mobile Preschool Funding Program.
