Who Can Apply

• Applicant must be a not-for-profit community preschool. • Service must be receiving funding under NSW Start Strong for Community Preschools or the Mobile Preschool Funding Program. • Funding is not available for places or hours that are Child Care Subsidy approved. • Child must generally be at least 3 years old on or before 31 July in the preschool year and not be in compulsory schooling, including homeschooling. • A child turning 3 after 31 July may be eligible where exceptional circumstances are demonstrated. • Child must have high learning support needs, including constant and ongoing support needs or a temporary illness or injury requiring short-term adjustment. • Child must require an Individual Learning Plan with individual goals, teaching strategies and adjustments. • Child must require consistent support and guidance to engage at the same level as peers. • Citizenship and residency status are not considered for child eligibility.
