Applicants must be owners of State heritage listed places in South Australia. Funding is available in three categories: Simple (up to $5,000), Complex (up to $10,000, maximum for residential properties), and Major (up to $20,000 for non-residential properties with multiple components). Eligible activities include documentation of conservation works, conservation of significant building fabric, protection of heritage value and structural integrity, and reinstatement of significant characteristics of State Heritage Areas.
Funding is for owners of State heritage listed places in South Australia. There are three categories of funding: Simple (up to $5,000) for documentation such as architect fees, conservation management plans, dilapidation reports and development application drawings or schedules; Complex (up to $10,000), which is the maximum available for residential properties with multiple components such as facade conservation; and Major (up to $20,000), which is only available for non-residential properties with multiple components. Eligible work types include documenting proposed conservation works (for example conservation management plans, dilapidation studies and development application drawings), works that conserve significant building fabric, works that protect the heritage value of the building or structure, work that ensures the structural integrity of a building or structure, works that reinstate or protect significant characteristics of a State Heritage Area (for example shopfronts and verandahs), and project management fees and development approval fees where applicable.
