Who Can Apply

Must be based in Victoria and have a current ABN, or apply through an eligible auspice. Eligible applicants include Victorian government secondary schools, eligible incorporated not-for-profits, incorporated Aboriginal entities and eligible incorporated social enterprises. Applicants must have no overdue DFFH grant reports and include all mandatory attachments. Ineligible applicants include individuals, sole traders, private for-profit companies, non-government schools, charitable trusts and government entities/agencies.
Applicants must be based in Victoria and have a current Australian Business Number. Eligible lead applicants are registered Victorian government secondary schools, not-for-profit organisations incorporated under the Corporations Act 2001 and registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission, incorporated Aboriginal entities including Aboriginal not-for-profit organisations, Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, Traditional Owner groups and land trusts, and incorporated social enterprises with a mission related to engaging and empowering young people. Social enterprises must attach their constitution. Applicants must seek funding for eligible activities, include mandatory attachments, and have no overdue reports from previous or current grants funded by the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing. Unincorporated groups or organisations without an ABN may apply through an eligible auspice organisation with a letter of support. Ineligible entities include government entities and agencies, individuals and sole traders, private for-profit companies, non-government schools and charitable trusts. Activities must occur in Victoria and cannot already be funded by another government program.
